I’ve just uploaded a few new images of Bossington in Exmoor National Park that I made on a stormy summer afternoon at the end of July.
Bossington is a small hamlet at the foot of Selworthy Beacon near Porlock through which Horner Water passes on its way to the Bristol Channel at Bossington Beach. This is a long pebble beach along Porlock Bay and is the home of a few old World War Two beach defences. At the very eastern end of the beach is Hurlstone Point which is where I found myself on this day.
There was quite a swell in the Bristol Channel and this and several passing rain showers ensured I got appropriately soaked but the fast-moving rainclouds made for some dramatic light as the evening wore on.
Images are currently appearing on this site quite slowly owing to me being out making new images over the summer and autumn. My backlog will be cleared at a much faster rate once autumn has passed but in the meantime, I am regularly posting highlights from my new images on Instagram and Twitter should you want to see what I am up to.
